With many districts having new boundaries for the 2018 election, one race to keep an eye out for is the 13th Congressional District.

Republican, John Joyce will face democrat Brent Ottaway in November’s general election to represent 10 counties, including Adams, Bedford, Franklin and Fulton.

Of the eight Republicans who were vying for a seat in the House of Representatives, three live in Franklin County. Former candidate for the 9th Congressional District, Travis Schooley, lives in Quincy Township. Bernie Washabaugh is a business owner from Chambersburg, and Doug Mastriano, a retired Army Colonel, calls Green Township his home.
