Early morning fire destroys shed and damages vehicle

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Frederick County, Maryland, officials responded to a shed fire.

County fire and rescue are investigating a fire at the 4,200 block of Middle Point Road in Wolfsville. Responder’s received the call around 6:30 a.m.

Over 30 firefighters responded within 10 minutes of the call to find a shed engulfed in flames that spread to a nearby vehicle.

“[We] found a small shed fully involved and extended to another outside building. The shed was a complete loss. [The] other departments [that] responded, [included] Myersville, Wolfsville, Smithsburg,” said Frederick County Fire & Rescue Battalion Chief, Michael Dmuchowski.

The fire is under investigation by the Frederick County Fire Marshal.
