Multiple suspects robbed a Rockville gun shop early Thursday morning, according to Montgomery County Police.

They said the call came in around 3:50 a.m.

Surveillance footage shows two suspects in the United Gun Shop on Randolph Road. Investigators said the suspects used crowbars to open the front door of the business and then smashed the glass display cases to remove guns.

Right now, it appears the suspects stole 24 handguns and seven long guns.

The surveillance footage shows that they were in the store for about 90 seconds.

“We believe the suspects are two males. They’re wearing dark clothing, gloves [and] concealed their faces,” said Sergeant Rebecca Innocenti, Montgomery County Police. “We do believe they fled in what is described as a four-door sedan. That vehicle is captured on area surveillance.”

The Montgomery County Police Department is partnering with the ATF, so the suspects could face federal charges.

Anyone with information is asked to call the ATF hotline at (888) 283-8477.
