A dangerous vehicle pursuit through Frederick and Washington Counties has ended with the arrest of a Hagerstown man.
According to Maryland State Police, William Frazier, 56, was arrested Monday morning and charged with DUI, 2nd degree assault and malicious destruction of property.
Authorities say the pursuit began around 12:30 a.m. in Frederick County, near the 42 MM on I-70.
Troopers saw a silver 1999 Infinity I-30 driving erratically, reaching speeds of 110 mph.
The pursuit continued into Washington County, where the suspect took the 5A exit ramp on Halfway Boulevard. It was then that the suspect lost control of the vehicle and spun out, before striking a state police vehicle. There were no injuries in the crash.
Frazier was taken to central booking and is waiting to see the commissioner.
