A Clear Spring man and former active volunteer firefighter is no longer facing first-degree arson charges.
Conner Greenlee, 21, was indicted last month after a year-long investigation for allegedly setting his mother’s house on fire in July of 2016.
However, a Washington County District Court judge dismissed the charge on Wednesday.
The blaze caused $80,000 worth of damage to the Clear Spring home.
Greenlee claimed that he didn’t know it was on fire at the time, and was able to escape without injury.
