WASHINGTON (WDVM) — We’re pinpointing the unprecedented wave of migration at the U.S.-Mexico border in 2021.

People are fleeing their countries throughout Latin American because of natural disasters, lack of economic opportunity, severe poverty, among other factors.

We spoke to Correspondent, Salvador Rivera, as he reporters from the border in San Diego, California.
