Observing the 75th anniversary of D-Day

The President and many members of Congress marked the 75th anniversary of D-Day at the Normandy American Cemetery.

Back here in the U.S., Vice President Pence traveled to Virginia to commemorate the heroism of the American soldiers who fought their way ashore on the sixth day of the sixth month in 1944.

And at the World War II Memorial in Washington, there was a public wreath laying and ceremony to salute the heroes of the “Greatest Generation.”
