Employment discrimination filing extended in Maryland

WASHINGTON (WDVM) — On Capitol Review with Tasmin Mahfuz, Maryland Delegate Terri Hill (Democrat, District 12) explains HB290 (Employment Discrimination – Time for Filing Complaints), now allowing a Maryland employee to file a discrimination report within a time period of 300 days since the reported incident, instead of the original six-month period.
