Federal executions will resume for the first time in more than 16 years.

WASHINGTON (WDVM) — A group of Democrats has introduced legislation to ban the use of the death penalty by the federal government.

This effort comes after Attorney General William Barr announced last month that federal executions will resume for the first time in more than 16 years.
