The 12-year anniversary of the Virginia Tech shooting was marked this past week.
Thirty-two people were killed, and at the time, it was the deadliest shooting in U.S. history. Since then, that death toll has been surpassed, but no federal gun control legislation has been enacted.
Some lawmakers are optimistic this is the year that gun laws change. However, as Brie Jackson reports, getting this divided Congress to agree on anything continues to be a battle.
