A student at the Barbra Ingram School for The Arts created a video to promote prom safety, and after making the video, he won a state-wide award.
With a passion for film, Laine Foxworthy decided to take his chances and enter into the Maryland Auto’s Safe Prom Contest.
The challenge of the contest was to submit a video or digital media message encouraging teens to make safe choices during prom season.
Laine’s video not only displayed an important message but also contained unique visuals.
For all of his hard work, he received a $1,000 donation towards BISFA’s after-prom event.
The award was presented to him by Maryland Auto Insurance along with Senator Andrew Serafini and Delegate Brett Wilson.
