The suspect of an armed robbery spree has now hit seven stores in Montgomery County according to police.
The suspect is being described as a black male between 5’4” and 5’7” with a slim build.
Police say he robbed a Silver Spring Rite Aid for the second time around 12:30 a.m., then a 7/11 in Kensington about a half hour later.
He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Detectives believe this suspect robbed stores on Jan. 20, 26, and 27, on top of Monday.
The same man is believed to have robbed surrounding counties as well.
“He doesn’t seem to care who may be in the store or not,” said Officer Rick Goodale, Montgomery County Police. “In some of the robberies there’s been customers inside the store. So, our concern is if the suspect continues with his activity, that there’s going to be an escalation of violence and somebody may get hurt.”
One clerk was injured in an incident last week.
