Voters in Virginia are less than two months away from casting ballots on Nov. 7 for the state’s new governor, lt. governor, attorney general, 100 House of Delegate seats and other local offices.
Frederick County Registrar Rick Miller wanted to remind voters to properly fill out their absentee ballots.
“The ballots must be in our by 7 p.m. on Election Night for a county,” Miller said. “If it comes in after, it won’t be opened or counted.”
Eligible voters may vote in person at the Frederick County Registrar’s Office prior to Election Day or apply to have an absentee ballot mailed to them.
The deadline to register is Oct. 16.
