Sarah Gisriel joined the WDVM news team in March 2015.
She is a four-state native and proudly claims Williamsport as her hometown. She was a wildcat all four years at Williamsport High School where she quickly realized her passion for journalism and news broadcast.
To fulfill her ambitions, she attended Salisbury University on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. There, she received her bachelor's degree in media production with a minor in English. Sarah was a member of the communication department's honor society, Lamda Pi Eta. She was also a radio personality for Salisbury's student-organized station, a writer for the university's weekly paper and even anchored and reported for the school's live newscast that aired twice a week.
Sarah enjoys spending her days along the Potomac River with her family and friends. She loves long distance running and considers herself a connoisseur of cheese fries.
Aside from continuing her career in news broadcast, Sarah hopes to one day pursue her passion for helping the homeless by opening a center in Washington County.
