U.S. Senator Joe Manchin wants bipartisan effort in looking at GOP tax plan

WASHINGTON D.C. - West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin says he has not yet seen the GOP tax reform bill that is currently trying to be passed in the Senate.

Manchin, who is a Democrat, believes the GOP is trying to pass the bill without any input from the Democrats. Manchin has stated that he believes the unemployment rate is the lowest it's been in many years, and the economy is stronger than ever. He wants the bill to be passed with a bipartisan effort.

“I just want to see the final version, at least I can say I saw it, cause I can assure you, I will not be able to read it, cause I won't have the time,” said Manchin.

Manchin also added he believes the bill we be the most dynamic change the nation has seen to the tax code.
