MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Deputies with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office are investigating a reported robbery that took place at the 167th Federal Credit Union in Martinsburg at 4400 of Winchester Avenue.
Deputies responded to the bank just before 11 a.m., where they said a white male entered and told the teller he was robbing the bank.
The man took off with an undisclosed amount of money.
Deputies said he left in a white pick-up truck that they later found out was stolen.
Bank employees described the robber as being a white male [and] approximately 35-40 years of age. They also believe he was about six feet tall with a thin build. Deputies said he was wearing a brown winter jacket and khaki cargo pants.
According to the press release, the suspect did not display a weapon during the robbery, and no bank employees were harmed.
