FAIRFAX, Va. - A new website will give Northern Virginia commuters who use Interstate-66 inside the Capital Beltway answers about using the toll lanes.
The Virginia Department of Transportation unveiled the website in an effort to help ease driver knowledge and safety on the road.
Since I-66 opened in the early 1980s, officials said it has been off-limits during rush hour to solo drivers inside the beltway.
That is now changing with the introduction of express lanes, which are expected to debut in December.
Residents can check the website out at this website.
