Virginia officials continue search for Kent Street shooting suspect

WINCHESTER, Va. - We have an update on three people who were shot in Winchester early Sunday morning. 

Police identified Brian Scott, 34, as a suspect. Officials say Scott is wanted on three felony charges, including being a felon in possession of a weapon, discharging a firearm in public and aggravated malicious wounding. 

Officials say one of the bullets fired Sunday morning entered a resident's home through a window and came within ten feet of striking a female. One of the victims injured has been discharged and the other two remain in the hospital in stable condition. Officials say they know the suspect has relatives in surrounding in Pennsylvania and Maryland. 

"The detectives are working around the clock. We're taking this case very seriously. Mr. Scott is considered armed and dangerous, and we need the public's help in finding him," said Lt Amanda Behan of the Winchester Police Department.
