Police seek help in identifying strong armed robbery suspect

The suspect took the victim's wallet and fled the scene

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Winchester Police Department is asking the community for help in identifying a suspect in a strong armed robbery.

The incident happened around 2:45 p.m. on Sept. 13 in the 1100-block of Berryville Avenue.

Reports said the suspect asked a victim for money, grabbed his wallet and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, who is around medium height.

He was last seen in the parking lot of Grafton School on Elm Street.
