A police chase leads to over a dozen charges

Stains is being held on a $1 million bond

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. - A man faces more than a dozen charges after leading Pennsylvania State Police on a pursuit in Franklin County, Pennsylvania on March 7.

According to officials, troopers saw Loren Stains, 27, of Saint Thomas Township, conduct a drug deal in a Rutter's parking lot on Lincoln Way West. Stains then fled in his car.

During the pursuit, Stains struck a state police patrol unit and another vehicle. He then fled on foot, leaving a passenger in the vehicle.

Shortly after, Stains was taken into custody. One trooper was taken to the hospital to be checked out.

Stains is being held on a $1 million bond.
