A new fence behind a Waynesboro restaurant has upset some in town

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - In Waynesboro, the installation of a fence behind a downtown restaurant has upset some residents.

Dominic Spinelli, owner of Frank's Pizza on West Main Street, recently installed a fence behind his business as a way to secure his property. With the new fence, drivers are no longer able to drive through the back of the parking lot onto Gay street. Jason Stains, the Borough Manager, says their office has received complaints about the fence, but says it's a private driveway and out of the Borough's hands.

"The public's perception is that it's a Borough alley, but the borough never ordained the drive as an alley, so therefore it's a private matter between the two property owners on either side of the driveway," said Stains.

WDVM reached out to Spinelli, who declined to comment.
