UPDATE: Hagerstown Police searching for suspect in Dogwood Drive murder

A warrant has been issued for 33 year-old Devaughn Tyrone Drew

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Hagerstown Police said a warrant has been issued for 33 year-old Devaughn Tyrone Drew for the first-degree murder of Destiny Boccone.

Just before 11 p.m. Sunday night, dispatch received a 911 call for a vehicle accident in the 11300-block of Dogwood Drive in Hagerstown.

When units arrived on scene, they located a woman who appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound. She was identified as 23 year-old Destiny Boccone.

Detectives said that Drew had been released from the Maryland Department of Corrections on Nov. 17, 2017.


Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff's Office are investigating a suspected homicide in the 11300-block of Dogwood Road and said they have identified the victim. 

According to deputies, the call came in just before 11 p.m. Sunday night. 

WDVM's Sarah Gisriel was on the scene saw a red car that had crashed into a tree in front of the home, which was the vehicle where the victim was found. 

Officials said the victim appeared to have been shot.

The person in the car has been identified as 23-year-old Destiny Baccone.
