Man arrested after making threats to blow up a Hagerstown business

Fire Marshal found blasting caps during investigation

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - A Franklin County man was charged for threatening to blow up a business in Hagerstown on March 5.

Officials say Blake Durboraw, of Greencastle, faces charges of threat to explode a structure and possessing explosives without a license.

The state fire marshal say these charges stem after Durboraw allegedly made threats to blow up Craig Paving Inc. which is located on Hump Road.

Reports say the suspect made the threats because he was angry about his mother selling her property to Craig Paving, which is right next door to the business.

Upon investigation, officials say they found blasting caps, making Durboraw's threat credible.

The state fire marshal wanted to reiterate that it is illegal to own or possess any explosive in Maryland without a license.
