GAITHERSBURG, Md. - The Gaithersburg man currently facing criminal assault and sex offense charges has provided new details about the allegations against him.
According to the police department, in a conversation with officers following his arrest, Roy Andres Simmons III did not deny the incident and even said the 10-year old girl he is accused of touching had been "kind of flirting" with him.
Simmons III had worked for an after-school program in Potomac known as Kid's Adventure.
According to police records, Simmons III was leading a group of kids and inappropriately touched the young girl on the chest when she separated from the other students.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident, as they are worried that there may be more victims.
