MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. - Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department are searching for a man connected to attempted armed robberies.
Jose Molina-Arevelo, 24, is facing two counts of attempted armed robbery and two counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
Detectives believe Molina-Arevelo participated in an attempted armed robbery in November of 2017 at the Cash Depot in Wheaton. Police say he is known to frequent the Home Depot located in Aspen Hill. Police say he is a known MS-13 gang member.
Molina-Arevelo is described as a Hispanic male, 5’4” tall, 140 pounds, black hair, and brown eyes. Molina-Arevelo may have an eyebrow ring and earrings in both ears.
“Detectives do consider him armed and dangerous and ask that if a citizen or resident does encounter this suspect to not confront him and immediately call 911,” said Officer Rick Goodale with the Montgomery County Police Department.
