More delays for Metro users

More delays in store around Bethesda area

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. - A number of Montgomery County residents had a tough start to their weekend due to another round of Metro issues on the Red Line.

Those delays took place between the Grosvenor-Strathmore and Friendship Heights stops.

Shuttle buses to and from those stops were caught up in nearby construction projects.

More delays may be in store as lane closures are expected in and around the Bethesda area until august seventh between Woodmont Avenue and Wilson Drive.

Those lane closures are part of an ongoing construction project to build a pedestrian crossing at the Medical Center Metro Station.
