MARYLAND - The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is sharing information regarding a recent recall of portable fire extinguishers.
The company "Kidde" announced a recall of 38 million fire extinguishers in the United States.
According to United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, the fire extinguishers can become clogged or require a lot of force to use, which can to lead not activating during a fire emergency.
The company recommends to owners to replace the fire extinguisher.
So far, the company has reported one death and almost 400 reports of problems.
