Here are some home-improvement safety tips you may want to follow!
Take your time. Don't try to hurry through a project. The more time you take from the start, the less you'll have to back-up or return to fix later.
Have the proper protection. Make sure you are dressed appropriately for the project you're doing. Especially remember to protect your eyes, ears, skin, and toes, pending what project you're working on.
Know what to do in case of an emergency. Should something go wrong, be prepared to handle it! An example being, if something catches on fire, don't instantly think to put it out with water. Some fires may be electrical and this will require an extinguisher (which you should note to have on hand).
