Bejoy Joseph WDVM Producer

Bejoy Joseph joined WDVM-TV as a News Reporter on January of 2012 before becoming a Sports Reporter and, now, a Producer. He was born in Queens, New York and has lived on Long Island for the majority of his life. Bejoy actually lived in Silver Spring, MD as a toddler before heading to L.I. Now he is stoked and joyful to be an Old Line State resident again.

Bejoy graduated from Oswego State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcasting/Mass Communications. He continued his education at the New York Institute of Technology, earning a Master's Degree in Communication Arts.

He interned at WABC-TV New York as a Sports Intern, then he interned in the Sports Departments of News 12 Long Island and WLNY-TV 10/55, all based in the New York City area. During those times, he covered the regular seasons and playoffs for all the professional teams in New York, along with local Big East Colleges and Long Island high schools. He covered the US Open and PGA Golf Championships as well.

Bejoy went to become a Sports Producer for WLNY-TV 10/55, and he also produced sports for HD News, a national television station, as a freelancer. In addition, he reported for L.I. News Tonight covering hard/soft news stories in the Long Island/NYC area. From there, he moved to the Beckley/Oak Hill, West Virginia area to work for WOAY-TV, an ABC affiliate as a Morning News Anchor/Assigment Editor/News Reporter.

During his spare time, he enjoys watching sports, news, movies, and television shows such as The Office, Sons of Anarchy, and Dexter. He used to root for all the professional teams in New York, now he bleeds everything Maryland. GO TERPS!!!!!
